OLDIE BUT GOODY

OK I KNOW EVERYONE KNOWS THIS ONE BUT JUST WANTED TO PASS IT ON TO THE NEW AND YOUNGER LADIES THAT MIGHT BE READING THIS BLOG....

KOOL-AID PIE

1 pk Kool-aid (any flavor, I like lemon)
1 can sweeten condensed milk
1 bowl cool whip
1 Graham cracker pie crust

Mix together Kool-aid and milk, add in cool whip with out over stirring (will make it flat) put into pie crust....chill or freeze...kids like to make it and any flavor of kool-aid is good, orange taste like sherbet, grape is wonderful and lemon (frozen) taste just like lemon icebox...and guys it only takes 15 seconds to make!!!!

HOT TOPIC.....Sunburn!

Ok my Daughter-in-law (hi Sarah) recently got sunburned really bad, blisters and all, she was wanting our advice on what to do for it...I told her a few things I had heard but it didn't seem to work for her...SOOO does anyone have any suggestions on first preventing sunburn, healthy ways to tan and last but not least treating sunburn....

Ok, here is a really good tidbit of info while cooking....if something can or is about to boil over, just take a stick of butter ( or margarine) and rub it about an inch inside the rim of the pot. The water won't boil over it...no more mess to clean up!

Homemade Laundry Detergent?

Does anyone know how to make homemade laundry detergent? If so please post it...
